Andrei was born in musicians family. His parents are Soloist in Irkutsk Musical Theater. After getting his first Master’s Degree as Interpreter of Chinese and English, he decided to join the same Theater first as a guest (2011) and then as ensemble member (2013). Mostly specialized in musicals and rock-operas, he debuted as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar production. In 2015 he graduated from the Institute of Art at Siberian University of Rights, Economics and Management as Opera singer.
Debuted as Alfredo in Verdi's "La Traviata" in September of 2019 in Theatro Umberto Giordano, Italy, then Jenick in "Prodana nevesta" of Smetana in Moscow Novaya Opera Theater, Almerik in "Iolanta" in Palau de Les Arts, Spain, and Nemorino in "L'elisir d'amore" - Cottbus Staatstheater, Germany.
Soon after he became Deutsche Oper Berlin ensemble member. Don Ottavio became his stage debut there. Tamino, Rodolfo, Bois Rose (Les Hugenots) soon after.
Guest shows also followed: Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden - Rodolfo, Teatro Verdi (Padova) - Don Ottavio, Opera de Lyon (France) - Fisherman in Stravinsky's Rossignol and Fox in Renard, Graz Oper (Austria) - Rodolfo, Opera Wrocławska (Poland) - Faust.
In season 21/22 in Deutsche Oper Berlin Andrei Danilov took part of Alfredo, Rodolfo, Tamino and sang his first Rossini part as Belfiore in "Il Viaggio a Reims". Also had his jump in role debut in Staatsoper Unter den Linden as Duka in Verdi's "Rigoletto".
Summer 2022 Danilov got Gran-Prix, 1st prize,and Press Prize at "55th IVC competition" ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands) and 1st Prize and Audience Prize - "5th Eva Marton competition" (Budapest).
Season 22/23 brought a jump-in part debut of Hoffmann at Göteborg opera, then Edgardo jump-in debut, Messa da Requiem and World Premiere of "Teorema di Pasolini" at Deutsche Oper Berlin.
The upcoming season announcements are: I Capuleti ei Montecchi (Bellini) in Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Aleko and Francesca da Rimini (Rakhmaninov) in Munich Philharmonia, and Rigoletto in Budapest Opera.
