Éva Csere graduated as a physical therapist from the Semmelweis University Faculty of Health Sciences and then completed postgraduate training for the Dévény Special Manual Technique and Gymnastics Method. She worked at the Bajcsy Zsilinszky Hospital’s Locomotor Function Rehabilitation Department and the Buda Hospital of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God, led osteoporosis and prevention physical training for groups at the Bálint House, and had her own private practice until 2019.
She has been working at the Hungarian State Opera since 2012. She was first contracted to provide physical therapy for the Hungarian National Ballet and in 2016 went on to support the work of the Hungarian National Ballet Institute by providing skill and movement development and aesthetic body-building services.
She has gained experience abroad as well: She worked in Spaichingen with a scholarship and participated in a several week long practical course at the Staatsballett in Berlin. Since she is continuously developing her skills, she is at home in sports physiotherapy, Mulligan manual therapy, the Dorn method, trigger point therapy, the Breuss massage, and has completed McKenzie training (A, B), Kinesio Tape training, and is familiar with the multidisciplinary management of peripheral neural structures.
In 2021 she was awarded the Hungarian Bronze Cross of Merit, civil division.
