From 2019 to 2023 Jolana was ensemble member of the DresdenState Operetta, where she performed, among others Stasi “The Csardás Princess”, Suza “Polish Wedding” or Papagena “Magic Flute”. She was member of Thuringian Opera Studio, where she sang multiple roles like Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, Vlasta (Die Passagierin) or Clara Schumann (Kuntze’s Geliebtes Klärchen) at the Theater Altenburg Gera. In 2017/2018, she represented Pepa at the “Tiefland” opera of Eugene d’Albert in the Théâtre du Capitol in Toulouse and Musetta at the F. X. Šalda Theater in Liberec in “La Bohéme” of Giacomo Puccini.
She is a holder of anumber of awards, including 3 special prizes at the 5th Eva Marton International Singing Competition in 2022 in Budapest, among others the Special Presidential Prize presented for the first time to the best performer of the mandatory Liszt song. She is finalist of The IVC Competition in s‘Hertogenbosch in 2022 and she is holder of 2nd prize and prize of Thuringian Philharmonic Orchestra at the International vocal competition of Gabriela Benackova in 2021. Jolana is also award winner of the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum 2019 by Salzburger Festspiele.
Jolana studied at the Hochschule für Musik und DarstellendeKunst Frankfurt am Main in the class of Hedwig Fassbender and Klesie Kelly-Moog. She received her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar and currently she is being coached by Christina Vasileva. She received further artistic inspiration in masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender (Masterclass NEUE STIMMEN 2018), Enza Ferarri, Rudolf Piernay or Helmut Deutsch. Jolana was recipient of a four-year study scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, then a scholarship from arteMusica Stiftung and Giovanni Omodeo Stiftung. In 2016 she received a DAAD award for foreign students with excellent study results.
