Judit Kerék graduated from the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music with a degree in voice and voice pedagogy and won the Hungarian State Opera's scholarship. She has performed at the Cellar Theatre, the Rock Theatre, the Comedy Theatre of Budapest, the Hungarian National Theatre, the Erkel Theatre, the Margaret Island Open-Air Stage, Munich's Deutsches Theater, the National Theatre of Szeged, the Szeged Open-Air Festival and the National Theatre of Miskolc.
Her principal roles comprise Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Gertrud (Bánk bán), Czipra (Der Zigeunerbaron), Mercédès (Carmen), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Fenena (Nabucco), Ines (Il trovatore), Kate (Madama Butterfly), the Marquise of Berkenfield (La fille du régiment), the Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte) and the mezzo-soprano solo parts of Verdi's Requiem, Mozart's Coronation Mass in C major and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater.
