Attila Mokus’ current and upcoming highlights include the role of Heerrufer in Lohengrin, Sonora in La Fanciulla del West, Mandarin in Turandot, Richter Burgmüller in Vollmer’s Tschick, Police Inspector in Lady Macbeth of Mzensk all as an ensemble member of Wiener Staatsoper, the title role in Rigoletto and Renato in Un ballo in maschera with Hungarian State Opera.
Next season he will appear as Ibn-Hakia in Iolanta, Leutnant Ratcliffe in Billy Budd, Il Conte Monterone in Rigoletto, Cesare Angelotti in Tosca at the stage of Wiener Staatsoper. Recent engagements include the title role in Nabucco with Staatstheater Mainz, Tonio in I Pagliacci, Marquis de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites, Albert in Werther, Melot in Tristan und Isolde, Il Conte di Monterone in Rigoletto, Paolo in Simon Boccanegra at the stage of Wiener Staatsoper, Valentin in Faust, Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore at Novi Sad State Opera. Other past engagements are Prince Yeletsky in Pique Dame at Novi Sad State Opera, Giorgio Germont in La Traviata at Werdenberger Schloß-Festspiele Jago in Otello for Oper Burg Gars. During his study at Kunstuniversität Graz, Attila performed Marcelo in La Boheme, der Vater in Hänsel und Gretel, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte, Conte Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and the title role in Don Giovanni.
