Opera Gala
Details
In Brief
For many years, the Hungarian State Opera has contributed to the success of the Anna Ball, one of Hungary's most distinguished social occasions, a tradition that has continued uninterrupted for more than two centuries. On the second day of OperaFüred, the leading soloists and the Orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera present a selection from the works of one of opera's greatest composers, Giuseppe Verdi. Immortal melodies from La forza del destino, Aida, Don Carlo, I vespri siciliani, Il trovatore, and Rigoletto can be heard at the festival's new venue, the Kisfaludy Stage.
